Horse Riding

As befits the world famous Andalusian equestrian culture, horses are a way of life on the Costa del Sol. Still used as the vehicle of choice by many and heavily featured in the local traditions, the Costa del Sol is the horseman or woman’s dream.
A large amount of stables and farms provide horses for hire, specialised treks or riding lessons and there are countless stunning riding itineraries available to the experienced or novice rider.
The festive calendar also provides many opportunities to enjoy the equestrian traditions of the area, including rallies, specialised fairs and displays.
Prices are very reasonable and we recommend that you contact one of the coasts most accomplished horsewomen, Sally Harrison at her riding school Hipica International, Camino de la Sierra 75, Churriana

Tennis tennis.jpg (10645 bytes)

The long sunny days on the Costa del Sol and the numerous quality clubs available lend themselves perfectly to the keen tennis player.

There are many tournaments throughout the year and excellent tuition is widely available. Although many of the registered clubs are members only, it is almost always possible to pay a court rental fee and enjoy the private facilities, which also include international restaurants, bars and entertainment.
Local municipal sports clubs also offer inexpensive court rates.

Lew Hoads Tennis Club on the Ctra. De Mijas offers an extensive range of tuition and facilities within their landscaped gardens. Opening times are 09.30 - 24.00 and they can be contacted on 952 474 858
